Georgia Ski Clubs that support USAWS/AWSA and the GWSF

The Atlanta Water Ski Club has been in existence for over 62 years nestled at the south end of Lake Allatoona in Acworth, Ga., 30 minutes north of ATL. The AWSC is a public lake ski club with over 40 members. Designed to advocate 3 event skiing, but our club proudly boasts Show Skiers, Barefooters, Wakeboard and Surfers for a truly complete resume! We also have our annual Class C tournament held each May at Lake Acworth, the Jay Guarino Memorial Acworth Open.

One of the premier private residence lakes in Georgia, Ray Crenshaw's backyard paradise offers awesome slalom ski conditions anytime! Ray holds several events each year, including a 3 round class C slalom tournament, Jr and Adult Developement clinics that attracts the likes of Ski Pro Jeff Rodgers! Whitestone Lakes Estates private residence ski community.
Whitestone typically hosts several tournaments during the season. We have also hosted the AWSA Southern Regional Championships, the Southern Region Barefoot Championships, the Kneeboard Nationals and the first stop of the 2008 Pro Water Ski Tour. There is a large pavilion between the lakes which provides excellent viewing and space for officials during tournaments. This is a perfect place for skiing to be a spectator sport! Complete with music over the PA to keep you pumped all day long! Check the listings, there may be a property for sale so you can be a resident skier.

Culpepper Lake is a private lake, built in 1991,exclusively for tournament style waterskiing.  Located outside of Milledgeville, Georgia, the lake has been host to dozens of organized waterski events and tournaments including hosting the Georgia State championships 3 times and the site of the 2004 Eastern Collegiate Ski championship. Divorce Lake Waterski Club

Located just over the border from Georia, just off I-85 in Valley Alabama , Divorce lake offers private memberships to enjoy 3 event water skiing. They have just opened with Slalom in the summer of 2012 and continue to improve the site with added boat slips. Check out the website for details. West End Slalom - Atlanta, Ga. 

Located near Hartsfield Jackson (Atlanta) Airport near I285 and Camp Creek Parkway, this site is a great place for the Urban Skier! Formerly known as Water Ski Atlanta, George has resurrected this site as a 2 event lake for Slalom and Trick skiing. Always on the ready is a Nautique 200 and in the summer time, usually comes with a driver. This is an 8 buoy course. Visit http://westendslalom.com/ for details.
